A computer lab at the Shute Park branch
Overview
The Digital Bridge / Puente Digital is a 10-seat computer lab at the Shute Park Branch, originally donated by Intel and the Gates Foundation. Some classes are offered in basic computing (see below), and during non-class times the computers are available for general Internet access. The machines also have Microsoft Office intalled. Computer assistants are available in the afternoons and evenings to provide advice and assistance to people using the Internet computers.
Mission Statement for Digital Bridge

To take these populations from the heart of the community to the world beyond through a program that teaches basic computer skills, library catalog and database use, web page design, and Internet searching techniques.
