"Men do not understand books until they have had a certain amount of life, or at any rate no man understands a deep book until he has seen and lived at least part of its contents."

—Ezra Loomis Pound (1885-1972) American writer, poet, Cantos, ABC of Reading

Toddler Time

For two- and three-year-olds. Pre-registration is required.

Toddler Time is offered on Friday mornings at Main and Wednesday mornings at Shute Park during the months of September, November, January, March and May.

Due to the developmental stage of toddlers, registration is required and attendance is limited.  There is usually a waiting list, and parents are asked not to bring siblings other than infants who are not yet walking.

Short books are read to the group, alternating with physical activities and presentation of early literacy skills.  There's lots of group participation in the 20-25 minute session.
