This 15,000 square foot library building was built in 1975. It houses over 105,000 items and has 36 public seats.

The branch library's emphasis is on programs and materials for families and young children. It provides curriculum support from Kindergarten through 9th grade. The collection has popular reading materials, a Spanish-language section, a general interest audiovisual collection, including DVDs, and a basic reference collection.
Shute Park houses the Digital Bridge/Puente Digital with 10 public computers, in addition to 21 general public Internet and library computers.
